Me and my friend had a fabulous meal last week at this restaurant. Friendly server, amazing caesar salads came with our broiled shrimp entrees. Shrimp was delicious! The hashed brown special potatoes were crisp on the outside and cheese and sour cream (I think it was) on the inside. Wow, thrilled we chose this place for our one evening in town. Highly recommend!
I was visiting town and I stopped here for dinner. I was seated and got myself order in a timing manner. I ordered the ribs and steak combo with rice. It also came with a house salad and a dinner roll if requested. It wasn’t long of a wait. Ribs were tender that it came off the bone easily. The sauce wasn’t too sweet. The steak had flavored and it was tender enough to be easily cut and eaten. Quiet atmosphere and friendly server that come around to check on you. The prices were high but it’s worth for the value.
Despite a few of the negative reviews,I decided to give this place a try. Walked right in when they opened at 4pm. Was seated rather quickly & had the pleasure of being served by Tiffany. Very pleasant attitude, nice smile & very attentive. Got the full rack of ribs, broccoli and dinner roll. Meat came right off the bone, maybe a hair too much bbq sauce on the meat, but tasty nonetheless. Nice flavor, great portion. This trucker is very satisfied.
The Hitching Post catered our wedding reception and it was great. We loved the food and also received so many compliments from our guests. Jordan was super easy to work with during the planning process. I would recommend The Hitching Post to anyone needed catering in the Marshall area!
4/22/2024 Passing through town and ran across this place at dinner time. What a great find! The hostess and server were super friendly and helpful, not only with the menu but about a museum in the area. They made weary travelers right at home. The food was excellent as well!
Date night for me and the wife first time in almost a year the atmosphere was great! Amazing food, service and music highly recommend it we will definitely be coming back again our server was amazing ontop of everything even with it being busy this is the 6th time we've been here now since moving to southwest Mn and we absolutely love it the steak was cooked to perfection!!! The chef needs a raise with how good it was done!! And the wifes burger was cooked to perfection done but juicy not dried out came out perfect!!! And the apps we got the artichoke dip and the cheese curds absolutely amazing highly recommend them if you go here!!!! A service and food we will be coming back again hopefully soon!!!
We’re here on work vacation and the locals highly recommended this place. I can’t remember the waitresses name but she was super knowledge and friendly. We laughed & joked with her. The food was amazing. You MUST try the strawberry margaritas. The mushroom Swiss burger was cooked to perfection! Overall, this has been the best restaurant experience that we’ve had in MN!
